Management of the Lagos State University Ojo is now awaiting the results of National Universities Commission whose last team completed the three weeks of the commission's assessment visit to various departments and faculties for reaccreditation of academic programmes of the university
The NUC teams on Educational Management, Computer Science, and Electronic & Computer Engineering on Tuesday concluded their assessments of the programmes.
The teams arrived on Monday, 4th December 2023, at the Senate Chamber, Babatunde Raji Fashola Senate Building, Main Campus, Ojo Lagos.
The Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academic, Prof. Olufunsho Omobitan received the NUC Teams on behalf of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello alongside other principal officers, who were the Registrar, Mr. Emmanuel A. FANU, Bursar, Mr. Said Babatunde Olayinka and University Librarian, Dr. Omawunmi Orighomisan Makinde.
The teams concluded their comprehensive assessments of the programmes and submitted their reports to the Vice Chancellor at the exit meeting held on Tuesday, 5th December, 2023 at the Vice Chancellor's Conference Room.
Members of NUC teams present at the meeting include Educational Management Team; Prof. Adiele Edward, Prof. Esere Mary, Mrs Agarawu Oladele; Computer Science Team; Prof. Okeyinka A. E., Prof. Awodele Oludele, Mrs Zainab A.J, Electronic & Computer Engineering; Prof. Bukar Umar Musa, Prof. Ugochukwu A. Kamalu, Mr Jibril Ibrahim Gafar.
