Ogun State Government has expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the ongoing first term examination for the 2022/2023 academic session which began on Thursday across public schools in the state
The State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu made this known while monitoring the conducts in some schools within Abeokuta axis,
Arigbabu who was accompanied by the Special Assistant on Education, Mr. Niyi Olaitan and the Director of Secondary and Higher Education, Mr. Oluwole Majekodunmi, commended the Principals for a well-coordinated examination, saying logistics given by the government were put in good use.
He appreciated the Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for his commitment to improving the education system which he noted would continue to make the State a pace-setter for others across the nation.
Speaking, the Principal, Abeokuta Girls Grammar School (AGGS), said the first term examination started with mathematics on a very smooth note, adding that there were enough materials for the exercise and the classrooms were well arranged.
Schools visited are Abeokuta Grammar school, Baptist Girls College, Lisabi Grammar School, Abeokuta Girls Grammar School and Ijemo- Titun High School.
