Coach Toyin Ayinla of Gateway United Football Club, has vowed that his side would not leave no stone unturned in maintaining the lead at the group B1 summit.
Ayinla was reacting to the last Sundays lone goal win against visiting EKITI United in the second tier Nigeria National League NNL resumption Of the second half of the league at the Dipo Dina International Stadium in Ijebu-Ode
His words,"A hard fought one. We took the lead quite early but we were a bit wasteful in front of goal. Of course, that will be promptly addressed. All in all, it was a good game. Our defenders showed how resolute they are, working hard to keep the visitors at bay. Every unit was on alert. It was a yeoman's job"
"Our focus is now on our next game which is on the road. We will make every effort to make it count at Ikot Ikpene in Akwa Ibom this coming Saturday"
Oronsaye James' penalty saw off Ekiti United as Gateway United retained top spot in group B1 of the 2021/22 Nigeria National League season.
