Ogun State Government is set to hold another edition of Gateway Tertiary Institutions Games (GATIG) kicking off this Sunday
Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Engr. Olayiwola Abiodun who made this known in a statement, indicated that the games would be holding at the Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu, between Sunday, May 15 and Wednesday 18, 2022 for public and private institutions, to boost sport development in the State.
The release further stated that, the Game was revived by the Prince Dapo Abiodun led administration to produce talents that would compete for the State in future sport competitions in the country.
Over eight institutions in the State had indicated their interest to participate in the event,
Athletes from the participating Institutions will be competing for laurels in 12 games at the competition.
