FUNAAB VC Sues For Tolerance, Love, Harmony....As Christians Celebrate Easter





The Vice-Chancellor of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Prof.Kolawole Salako has  felicitated with the University's Christians Community, as Nigerians joined their other counterpart in the rest of the world in celebrating  Easter festive period which marks  the resurrection of Jesus Christ

Salako in his Goodwill Message made available to Edu-Biznews in Abeokuta on Sunday by  the university's Head, Directorate of Public Relations, Mr.Kola Adepoju,  congratulated  Christians in the University, nationwide and  the world at large for a successful completion of Lent  and for witnessing another Easter celebration by the grace of God, for His glory and betterment of humanity.

He charged the University Christian Community to reflects on the essence and lessons of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ by embracing and living a life of tolerance, sacrifice, love and peace.

The Vice Chancellor admonished staff and students of the University and citizenry at large to shun rancour and acrimony,reiterating that the development and progress of FUNAAB and Nigeria in general depends largely on love and unity among staff,students and stakeholders,as well as Nigerians therein,irrespective of political and religious affiliations.

Salako commended  the Christian Community and the  members of the University Community for religious harmony and peaceful co-existence, assuring that he will continue to promote the spirit of oneness  through unwavering commitment to fairness,equity,justice and transparency which is the bedrock of his Administration's core value till his last day in office.

He urged members of the University Community and citizenry in general to compliment government's efforts at combating the spread of Covid-19 by strictly adhering to medical protocols while attending  Easter Picnics by maintaining social distance and wearing of face mask
