The Ogun State Government has appealed to indigenes who wish to apply as intakes of the Nigeria Defence Academy, Kaduna to always ensure that they meet all stipulated requirements for admission.
The State Ministry of Information and Strategy made this known on Friday in a statement, saying that the authorities of the Academy have observed that in the last five years, it is becoming increasingly difficult for many States in the country to have an adequate number of candidates fill their quotas at the Academy, especially at the level of Armed Forces Selection Board.
This worrisome development, the statement noted has been further accentuated by the fact there has been a massive failure in the Medical Test and Credentials Screening as a result of an application by wrong and mostly unqualified candidates from the various States.
The statement, therefore, enjoined prospective indigenous applicants to always contact the State Bureau of Cabinet and Special Services, Governor’s Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta for proper guidance and necessary clarification to enhance their chances of being admitted into the Academy.
