YabaTech's Arts Museum Holds Film Exhibition




Yaba College of Technology's Art Museum, a project funded by Ford Foundation, has concluded arrangement for holding of an exhibition on Film screenings and Multimedia titled: Green Leaves. 

The college's Deputy Registrar/Head of Public Relations,Joe Ejiofor in a statement made available to Edu-Biznews on Thursday, said that the exhibition would hold between November 9 and 17, 2021 

According to him, the visiting hours for the exhibition has been fixed for 10am and 5pm, excluding Sunday while the event kicks start by 12noon on 9th of November 

The exhibition will feature the Screenings of films relating to youth development and Sexual Harassment and Gender Based Violence(SHGBV).

It is expected that exhibition with social justice themes will stimulate genuine interaction between the academic community and visitors to the museum and also create a networking connections for a prospective and enduring future collaboration. 

The exhibition will also create a mixer space for learners with creative practitioners on the prospects of multimedia practice and its functionality for social justice advocacy in contemporary society.

This exhibition is coming after the much successful exhibition in March titled Yaba Cartoon Nation which features works of some selected Yabatech Alumni Cartoonist whose works over the past years have created a balance for social justice.
