Abiodun Assures On Aphalting Of Moore Juntion To Carwash Road In Two Weeks




Governor Dapo Abiodun has assured motorists and other road users plying Adatan-Camp Road in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital of commencement of aphalting of the Carwash to Moore junction section of the road in the next two weeks

Edu-Biznews recalled that the road which is one of the major projects inherited from the last administration of Senator Ibikunle Amosun, has been a nightmare for the residents and road users, particularly when it rains 

But the governor  gave the assurance on the completion of a section of the road while holding the Ogun central virtual town hall meeting in readiness for the 2022 Budget and Medium-Term Expenditure Framework for 2022-2024

He added that his administration, despite the limited resources at his disposal had not for once left the road unattended to.

Prince Abiodun while affirming the readiness of his government to move towards Obantoko area after the Moore Junction to Carwash Road must have been asphalted, assured of the completion of the road.

 His words,"The old Abeokuta Road is receiving our attention, we are paying attention to that Asero road, the roads are in two folds, one is State sponsored and the other is Federal. We are already working on the Moore junction to Carwash, which was very deplorable, I am sure in the next week or two, that area should be completely asphalted and then we will move to the area that goes towards Obantoko which is under contract"
