Ogun Muslim Council Celebrates Historic Election Of Alhaji Hassan Fajimite As MULAN National President






The Ogun State Muslim Council (OMC), has extended its warmest felicitations and profound congratulations to an illustrious son of the Gateway State and frontline legal practitioner, Alhaji Hassan Taiwo Fajimite, Esq.who has been elected as the National President of the Muslim Lawyers Association of Nigeria (MULAN).

President-General of the State Muslim Council and Olowu of Owu, Oba (Prof.) Saka Adelola Matemilola in statement issued in  Abeokuta by the Council's, Secretary-General , Asiwaju (Balogun) Kamal’deen Akintunde, Esq., noted that celebrating Fajimite’s elevation was a matter of deep state pride, describing his emergence as a highly merited milestone and a direct validation of his relentless dedication to the defense of the believers' fundamental rights.

The State Muslim apex body in the statement, lauded the newly elected President for flying the flag of Ogun State with honour, having carved an indelible niche for himself in the legal profession through his selfless "Da'wah" activities and unyielding advocacy for justice. 

"As a Council, we are deeply proud to celebrate one of our very own. Alhaji Fajimite as a distinguished ambassador of the Gateway State whose monumental elevation to this national office is a well-deserved feat" 

Fajimite according to OMC, has personally and collectively undertaken several strategic legal battles to protect and project the interests of Islam. 

"A prominent and recent testament to this is his gallant, pro-bono role as the Lead Counsel representing the Muslim Parents of the University of Ibadan (UI) International School in their litigation against the school's management over the constitutional right of female Muslim students to wear the Hijab."

OMC expressed absolute confidence in Fajimite’s capacity to pilot the affairs of the national body. 

The Council prayed that his tenure would usher in a highly impactful era for MULAN, further consolidating the Association as a formidable legal fortress and a proactive "Da'wah" vanguard for the defense of Islam and Muslims across the federation.
   

The Council concluded by beseeching Almighty Allah (SWT) to bless this new fear, grant the new President divine wisdom, and crown his tenure with unprecedented success.
