The Oga boys still maintained their third position with 52 points, three points behind Enugu Rangers and Rivers United of Port -Harcourt with 55 points each in first and second positions respectively, despite their disappointing outing while Plateau United climbed the ladder to the right position with 46 points from the initial 11th position
Kazeem Adeyanju broke the deadlock in the 50th minute of the encounter, after a goalless halftime, before Ossy Martins grabbed a brace 72nd and 88th minutes while Ali Moses reduced the tally in-between in the 80th minute
Victor Dama completed the thrashing of the visitors , to enhance the performance of Plateau United on the table
Similarly, Abia Warriors of Umuahia moved to the fourth spot with 52 points after edging past visiting Bayelsa United of Yenegoa who also remained at their 16th position with 40 points, still struggling to escape relegation from the elite division
