Members of staff at the Lagos State University will be proceeding on a one week end-of-year break for 2025 , beginning from Monday, December 29, 2025 til Friday 2nd January, 2026
Earlier, all full-time students on campus had last Friday, 19th December 2025 , proceeded on a two-week End-of-Year Break* in line with the University Senate-approved academic calendar
Deputy Registrar/Coordinator, Centre for Information and Public Relations of the institution, Oluwayemisi Thomas-Onashile made this known in a statement
The University Management according to the statement, has approved *a one-week End-of-Year Break* for members of staff to enable them fully enjoy the festive period with their families and loved ones.
"The break will be observed from *Monday, 29th December 2025 to Friday, 2nd January 2026"
"Accordingly, all members of staff and students are expected to resume on Monday, 5th January 2026"
"The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, on behalf of Senate and Management, wishes all staff and students a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year 2026 in advance", the statement concluded
