A seasoned Sports Administrator, David Osuolale has been elected as Secretary General of the Ogun State chapter of National Association for Physical and Health Education,Recreation, Sports and Dance.
Osuolale, a Deputy Director Of Organization at the State Sports Council and Acting Sports Director, Redeemed Christian Church of God, Region 32, Ogun State was elected along with other members as new executives of the association during a congress held on Tuesday,15th of July, 2025 at Federal College of Education, Osiele, Abeokuta.
Other elected members include Prof Olarewaju Ipinmoroti (Chairman ), Mr Oluseyi Sonde, currently the acting Director of Sports,Ogun State Sports Council emerged as Vice Chairman, Mr Olayode Mojeed (Asst Secretary General), Mrs Ogunkole Oluseye - (Treasurer ), Mrs Gladys Ochu.(Financial Secretary ) and Mr Akintunde Gideon (PRO)
Osuolale, the former Remo Divisional Sports Officer(DSO) of the State Sports Council, is expected to bring his over two decades wealth of experience in sports organization and management, to bear in the running of the State Secretariat of NAPHER-SD
The newly elected Secretary-General holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Science Education from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Master's Degree in Tourism and Sports Event Management from Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti in addition to Diploma in Sports Management and Organisation from the International Olympic Committee 2020 to 2021
Osuolale equally holds Certificate in Sports Administration from Olympic Solidarity Course 2018 and another
Certificate in International Sports Science and Coaching and attended
several leadership training and courses
He organized several sports events including Ogun State Boxing Hall of Fame Championship (1st to 12th Edition) - Ogun Boxing Governor's Belt, maiden Remo Sports Festival, All Remo Primary Schools Games, Annual Remo Chess Championship and Gateway Tertiary Institution Games amongst other achievements
