President Tinubu In Saint Lucia, Addresses Special Joint Session of Senate, House of Assembly On Monday

Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be addressing a joint special session of Saint Lucia's Senate and the House of Assembly this Monday, June 30, 2025  at the William Jefferson Clinton Ballroom, Sandals Grande, Gros Islet.

Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to the president, Bayo Onanuga who announced this in a statement on Sunday, said Tinubu arrived in Vieux Fort, Saint Lucia on Saturday at 5:30 pm local time, marking the first leg of his two-nation trip to the Caribbean and South America country 

Tinubu on arrival at Hewanorra International Airport, was accorded full military honours.

He was received by the Governor-General of Saint Lucia, Cyril Errol Melchiades Charles, and Prime Minister, Philip J. Pierre.

President Tinubu according to the statement, kicks- start  the state visit on Sunday by paying courtesy calls to the Governor-General and Prime Minister Philip Pierre.
