Management of the Lagos State University Ojo has adjusted the time-table for students writing the ongoing 2023/2024 second semester examination, following the declaration of Tuesday, August 20,2024, as Work-Free Day by the Lagos State Government,to enable traditionalists celebrate this year's Isese Day
The State Government in a circular with reference number: CIR/HoS/'24/Vol.1/066 and dated 19th August 2024 signed by the Head of Service, Mr Bode Agoro, had
announced the declaration of the holiday
,"In compliance with the above directive, the Lagos State University Management has therefore directed all staff (Teaching and Non-Teaching) to observe Tuesday, 20th August 2024, as Work-Free Day, and resume work on Wednesday, 21st August 2024 at 8:00 a.m. prompt"
Coordinator, Centre for Information and Public Relations of the university, Oluwayemisi Thomas-Onashile who made this known in a statement on Monday, said that with the adjustment, the semester examimation would now end on 17th of September as against the earlier 15th of September, 2024
She added in the statement, that there would be no examinations on Tuesday, 20th August 2024 for students until Wednesday ,August 21 , following the directive
