NNPP Scribe Writes Open Letter To INEC Chairman, Cautions Against Giving Kwankwaso's Group Advantage Until.

National Secretary of the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP), Comrade Sunday Olaposi Oginni has cautioned Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) against giving advantage to the former presidential candidate of the party in the 2023 general election, Engr.Rabiu Musa Kwankwanso's group until all cases before the court concerning the party are disposed of up till the Supreme Court 

Oginni who issued the caution in an open letter to Chairman of the electoral agency, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, of which a copy was obtained by Edu-Biznews, says "no congress, delegate election or mini convention should be monitored by INEC as may be requested by the defunct NWC illegally led by Abba Kawu/ Dr. Ajuji and fraudulently backed by suspended Engr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwanso."

The party's  scribe was however quick to add  in the letter that urgent recognition should be given to the leadership of NNPP under Dr. Major Agbo in accordance to the Resolutions of The Board of Trustees and The General Assembly, saying INEC should henceforth stop recognizing correspondences from Aba Kawu or Dr. Ajuji and Mr. Dipo Olayoku whom  according to him, are part of NWC members dissolved and expelled From the Party.

Oginni while calling for positive response to the demands in the letter by INEC Chairman, accused Kwankwaso and his group in the party, popularly known as 

Kwankwasiyya movement of trying to hijack the structure of the party after the failed presidential ambition and sideline those he described as original owners of the party 

"After the failed Presidential bid, Engr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwanso felt that having secured House of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate and Governorship seats, it was time to hijack the party and sideline the original founding father and NAGAFF which birthed and funded NNPP", he stated 

 

The Secretary commended the leadership of INEC for its impartial role in the ongoing crisis rocking the Labour Party over the controversial National Convention of the Labour Party held recently

"We are not unaware that the commission under your dynamic leadership is doing so meticulously in recent times. The recently concluded National Convention of the Labour Party which was deemed unrecognised because of non attendance of INEC is a testament of the impartial roles INEC has accorded itself under your headship."

He then warned of the consequence of activities of the Kwankwanso's group if not checked or call to order on the party, might lead to breakdown of law and order 

"The actions of the Kwankwanso backed faction if not checked may lead to breakdown of law and order. This is the main reason INEC was empowered to monitor and supervise, including regulating activities of political parties"
