Again LASU Raises Alarm Over Fake Facebook Page Impersonating Vice-Chancellor




Again the management of the Lagos State University Ojo has raised fresh alarm over another fake Facebook page impersonating the name of its  Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, to deceive and collect money from the general public including students,under the pretense of offering them admission or jobs 

Edu-Biznews had earlier on 25th of November, 2023 published similar story of impersonation of the name of the institution's Vice-Chancellor on the same social media platform

The university in a disclaimer issued on Wednesday and made available to Edu-Biznews, clarified that the Vice-Chancellor would never offer admission or job , neither would she ask for money from anyone in any guise or platform.

Below is the disclaimer 

The University community and members of the general public are once again alerted to the existence of a fake Facebook page by the name Ibiyemi Olatunji Bello impersonating the Vice chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello.

 The operators of the page are using her name to contact other Facebook users through Facebook Messenger with offers of jobs and admission with the aim of obtaining money and or other favours from them. 

Please be informed that Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello will never offer admission or jobs, nether will she ask for money from anyone in any guise or platform. 

All members of the general public are therefore urged to disregard any friend request or message from the page.
