Nigeria's Rivers United Football Club of Port-Harcourt have been drawn in Group C in the group stage of the second tier CAF Confederation Cup, alongside Tunisian giants Club Africain
The only surviving Nigerian club will do battle with two others ,Ghana's Dreams FC and Angola's APC Lobito for a place in the quarter final of the Africa's clubs competition
The draw conducted by Zambian Afcon winner Rainford Kalaba and former South African star Hlompho Kekana in Johannesburg on Friday, saw Libyan side, Al Hilal being drawn in Group A alongside South African giants SuperSport United, Egyptian club Future FC and holders USM Alger of Algeria.
In Group B, Egyptian powerhouse Zamalek, the 2019 winners, will clash with Angola's Sagrada Esperança, Guinea's SOAR and Libyan club Abu Salim for a ticket in the last eight of the championship
Moroccan club RS Berkane will be battling Congolese team DC Motema Pembe, Malian side Stade Malien and South Africans Sekhukhune United in Group D for a place in the knock out stage of the continental competition
The group stage clashes will commence on 26 November, promising excitement and drama as the giants of African club football fight to reach the knockout phase of the championship
