Invest Time In Your Children, Be A Role Model To Them- Experts Charge Muslim Women Professionals







Experts have charged Muslims women professionals to always invest time  to inculcate moral values in their children, so as to lay a solid foundation for generation of righteous people  for the country 

A Guidance Counselor at the Ogun State Teaching Service Commissioner, Alhaja Ajumah Dhikrullah and Chief Nursing Officer of a Primary Heath Centre in Agbado, Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State, Mrs Fatimah Adeyanju  gave the charge in Abeokuta in  their sperate lecture delivered on Saturday during the opening session of the 2023 Week of Women Empowerment being organized by Al-Mu' Minaat -The believing Women organisation 

Dhikrullah who was the Guest Lecturer at the event,said in her presentation on theme: "Muslim Women:The Nation Builder", stressed the need for Muslim women to be good role model for their children which she described as their future 


She emphasized the need for them to strike a balance between having a good career path and building their homes on solid teachings of Islam for the society to appreciate the beauty of Islam in their respective families

"We must imbibe fear of Allah in our children at all times, we must inculcate positive value in them and be there emotionally for the children. We must show them love as mothers who care for the children ", she maintained

Also speaking on how to manage the "Arthritis", the Chief Nursing Officer, Mrs Fatimah Adeyanju stressed the need for mothers to pay serious attention to the health of their children right from the cradle, to prevent any form of health complications arising from head injury or any other unsuspected injuries which might affect their normal growth 




She identified the causes, risk factors , symptoms and how to effectively manage the health challenges arising from Arthritis

Adeyanju urged them to always maintained a healthy lifestyle by eating more of vegetables and fruits in addition to regular exercise, as part of their daily routine to overcome any of the health challenges 

Amirah of Al-Mu'Minaat for Egba-Yewa Zone,  Hajia Sekinat AbdRaheem Yusuf speaking on the Day one of the week described as "Women Unity Day" at the Owu Central Moque Hall , said the week kick started with Special Jummah Service, saying there will be medical caravan at various Local Governments this Sunday while  media tour to various media houses commences on this Monday with a visit to OGTV which continues on Tuesday 

"Today(Saturday) is Women's/Unity day, It is indeed a great way to officially commence our activities for the 1445AH Al-Mu'minaat week"


"As usual this year Al Mu'minaat week includes media tour to various media houses such as sweet FM, Family FM and Splash FM. we trust it will yield fruits as they continue to speak well for the organisation, and for Islam in general "

She added that there would be visitation to Patronesses of the organization on Wednesday while on Thursday members will be on  humanitarian visit  to Juvenile Home in Asero 

"Of course, we had some time to ponder on what life looks like for other people during the humanitarian visit at the Juvenile home Asero Abeokuta. I doubt our Al-Mu'minaat week will really not be completed without our Community Service which will be done on local government basis."


"On Friday, there will be community services in various Local While on Saturday,the 26th of August there will be the grand-finale of the week long activities at Owu-Central Moque in Quarry Road, Pepsi Bus "

The Amirah who was full of praises to Allah for successful take off of the week, 
urged  her fellow women to see their roles as very important in raising the next generation "




"The value of women in Islam is undeniable to any logical mind. Women make up the mothers, sisters, wives, and daughters of society"

"Women play important roles in raising upright children, upholding Islam in the home, and establishing religious values to those around them and beyond."




"My sisters in faith, I am sure that we would all participate actively in every activities in this week. Let us carry this energy back to our homes, to our neighbours, and to our friends. The energy that we are amazing and wonderful individuals, who can do anything we set our minds to. Do not forget that with Allah, anything is possible, she charged
