Ogun State Government has offered a cash prize of N1million to overall best graduating student of Mountain Top University, Pakuro in Obafemi Owode Local Government Area, Miss Danielle Oluwaseyi as a reward for her academic brilliance
The cash gift is in fulfillment of Governor Dapo Abiodun’s resolve to reward the overall best graduating students in tertiary institutions across Ogun State,
The State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu who presented the cheque to the recipient on behalf of the Governor, said the token was to reward her hard work and encourage her to continue to do better.
Arigbabu who commended Miss Oluwaseyi for attaining the feat by emerging the best among her peers, advised that she should continue to tow the path of excellence and always be a worthy ambassador of her institution and the State.
In his remark, the Vice Chancellor, Mountain Top University, Prof. Ayolabi Adebowale applauded the Governor for being a father to all, promising that the institution would continue to accomplish its vision of developing the education sector.
Responding, the recipient, Miss Oluwaseyi appreciated Prince Abiodun for the initiative which she described as a gesture that would help motivate the young ones to excel in their studies, with a promise to uphold the glory and honour of the State and Country anywhere she finds herself.
