Anu-Olu Inter'l College Abeokuta Celebrates 10 Yrs Of 98% Success In WAEC, NECO, BECE Exams..Offers Scholarship To Outstanding Students




Anu-Olu International College Abeokuta, one of the leading secondary schools in Ogun State and Nigeria on Saturday, 30th of July, 2022 celebrated 10years of 98% success rate in the West Africa Senior School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE) by The West Africa Examination Council as well as Senior School Certificate Examinations(SSCE) by National Examination Council and Basic Examination Certificate Examinations for the Junior Secondary Class 3 candidates being conducted by the State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology


Proprietor of the school, Hon.Semiu Bola Lawal who rolled out the academic feats of the college in the past one decade, during the 2022 valedictory service for the outgoing students of Senior School Class 3 at its premises located on Mercy Road, Panseke in  Abeokuta South Local Government Area, also announced  scholarship awards for outstanding students who are to enjoy free tuition within first term of the 2022/2023 academic session in various classes 

The scholarship recipients who emerged overall best in their respective classes include Idowu Christianah(JSS1), Akinboyede Yusiroh (JSS2), Senjobi Eniola (JSS3), Awodi Anne (SSS1) and Tosenu Senami(SSS2)

The proprietor also presented prize to overall best graduating student of the class 2022 set of the school, Oguntoye Eniola , commending the entire class for their exceptional academic brilliance

"You have crossed many hurdles that at times might seemed too tall to overcome or too heavy to move, you have proven exceptionally brilliant and of excellent character and that has shown that the potential to make the world better exists in each of you", Lawal lauded the graduating students 

"I want to encourage the SSS 3 graduands to remember what your parents and your teachers at Anu-Olu International College have taught you about yourself and life, know that today's achievement has shown that potential to the world better exists in you", he charged the outgoing students

He described Anu-Olu International College Abeokuta as one of the best in Ogun State, South West Nigeria, established in a serene environment and well equipped with computer laboratory (computer connectivity), standard chemistry and physics laboratories, furnished catering and craft kitchen, Art Studio, big and ventilated classrooms and recreational facilities for sporting events among students
























This conducive learning environment according to the proprietor, is also complimented by top notched teachers to sustain the culture of excellence in the high school

His words," Our teachers are top notched with excellent and professional skills, God fearing and good impartation on learners" 

"In the last one year, the school has engaged in various internal and external competitions ranging from sports to essay writing and has done excellently well in all these,the World Poetry Day and Wole Soyinka  International Cultural Exchange Essay Writing in which one of our students emerged as one of the best,"he added 


Lawal reminded parents, guardians and dignitaries that attended the valedictory service of the objective of the noble school to keep re-creating academic excellence and outstanding students both home and abroad

Also speaking as guest speaker at the event, Prince Abiola Ogundeko, a Liaison officer for Remo North Local Government, admonished parents to always give priority to quality education of their children


He added that Investment in the education of their children would ensure a secured retirement life for them 

The pupils from the nursery and primary as well as secondary sections of the school spiced up the event with chorography, cultural dance and other demonstrations while prizes were given to other outstanding pupils including children of the proprietor, Malik and Halimah in the nursery and primary category

One of the teachers, Mrs Olatunde Abiodun was also appreciated by the proprietor for being the most punctual staff 


High point of the event was the presentation of gift by the outgoing students to the school in appreciation of the contributions of the teachers in imparting quality education  in them
