Gateway United on Saturday secured a vital point on the road against host Osun United to keep their topflight football hope alive, after both sides settled for a goalless draw in a week 17 match fixture of the Nigeria National League NNL at OAU stadium in Ife.
The Toyin Ayinla tutored side recorded an impressive performance in the encounter to reduce Insurance FC of Benin advantage to a point, ahead of their away game to Ekiti United this Sunday 19th June, 2022
A quiet but energetic first half it was for both teams with the exception of Iwundu Chidozie's attempt in the 37th which saw his glancing header narrowly wide.
