The West African Examination Council WAEC has commenced the briefing of principals and supervisors that will be involved in the conduct of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination WASSCE for School Candidates in 2022 in Ogun state
According to a time-table released and made available to Edu-Biznews by the Abeokuta Branch office of the Council, the officials of WAEC met with principals and supervisors at the Ijebu-Ode Grammar School , Ijebu-Ode on Monday, 9th May.
The team also met with principals of schools and supervisors at the Ijebu-Ode 1,2 and 3, Ijebu-Igbo, Ago-Iwoye,Ijebu-Mushin, Abigi, Ogbere, Araromi-Obu, Ikenne, Iperu-Remo, Sagamu 1,Sagamu 2, Ogijo 1 and Ogijo 2
On Tuesday the examination body’s officials met with principals and supervisors in Iganmode Grammar School,Ota , team will meet with principals and supervisors as well as those in Ota 1,2,3,4,5 and 6
For Wednessday, the WAEC officials will be at Sango Ota High School,Sango Ota, to brief participants drawn from Akute 1, Akute 2,Agbado Oke-Aro , Agbado Adiyan,Agbado-Station,Idiroko,Agbara and Ogba custodials
On Thursday , it will be the turn of participants from Ifo 1 and 2, Ilaro,Igbogila, Owode-Yewa, Ayetoro and Imeko. The briefing will be held at the auditorium of Yews College, Ilaro
WAEC officials will on Friday be at Rev.Kuti Memorial Grammar School, Isabo ,Abeokuta to brief thisr6in Abeokuta 1,2,3 and 4, as well as Odeda,Ogunmakin,Owode-Egba,Mowe 1,Mowe 2,Ibafo and Magboro. A meeting with Principals of schools has also been scheduled for Saturday, 14th May at Ijebu-Ode Grammar School, Ijebu-Ode.
According to the release, the briefing exercise is to acquaint all stakeholders of the expectations of the Council in respect of the conduct of the examination in order to ensure its smooth conduct.
