Nigeria's Women Professional Football League, Sunshine Queens of Akure have lost one of it's Goal Keepers, Elizabeth Johnson (Janded) to the cold hands of death .
Media & Publicity Officer of the club, Femi Atolagbe broke the sad news in a statement on Sunday in Akure, the Ondo State capital
Johnson who was said to be hale and heathy, trained with her team mates on Saturday at the Ondo State Sports complex, Akure.
The statement added that the late player had earlier in the day complained of feeling feverish and dizzy, before she was taken to hospital when she eventually gave up the ghost on the way.
Players, officials and management of the team expressed shock over the death of the goal keeper
