Jangebe Girls' School Abduction: Abductors Release 279



Abductors of over 300 students of the Government Girls' Secondary School,Jangebe in Zamfara State, have  released 279 of their  abductees.

Governor Bello Matawale confirmed the actual number released, when  receiving the students on Tuesday morning at Government House Gusau.

The girls according to him, are all back hale and hearty.

He asked the girls to accept their abduction as an act of God and urged them to remain focus on their education 

Matawalle had on Sunday while hosting  some members of the Zamfara State Council of Chiefs, expressed confidence that the girls would be released soon, following the government dialogue with the abductors

Edu-Biznews recalled that the Governor alleged that the last Friday's abduction of school girls by armed bandits was sponsored by his destractors who were not comfortable with the positive result his administration was getting from dialoguing with the bandits
