Jangebe Girls' Abduction: Gov.Matawalle Accuses Destractors



Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State has revealed that the last Friday abduction of over 300 Students of Government Girls’ Secondary School, Jangebe are being sponsored by destractors who are not comfortable with the positive result his administration is getting with dialoguing with the bandits and ensuring peace in the state.

Edu-Biznews recalled that seven of the abducted Students escaped from their  abductors 

Matawalle while hosting 17 Emirs from the State Council of Chiefs on Sunday who paid him sympathy visit, said Nigerians would be shocked when the names of those behind the attack are eventually revealed

According to him,"Many people will be surprised to hear those people behind the abduction of these innocent children.”

“They are not comfortable with the progress I am getting as a result of my peace initiative and they want to do all they can to sabotage my efforts”,he added.

“I will insha Allah succeed at the end of the day and they will bury their faces in shame,” said the governor.

Chairman of the State Council of Chiefs and Emir of Anka , Alhaji Attahiru Anka,  blamed  President Muhammadu Buhari for  the upsurge in killings and kidnappings by bandits in the country.

His words, “The Federal Government is in total control of the security operatives in the country and not the state governors, as such the President is the one who has failed to address the issue of insecurity"
