2027 Poll:NDC Lagos Guber Candidate, Doherty Promises Free Education, Textbooks Within First 100 Days In Office

Governorship candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in Lagos State, Funso Doherty, says his administration will ensure provision of free education and textbooks within the first 100 days in office, if elected as the next governor at the 2027 general election 

Doherty was speaking on Thursday during a special town hall meeting hosted by The Platform, a thought leadership initiative of The Covenant Nation, Lagos. 

When asked what his plans were for the first 100 days if elected as Lagos State governor, the NDC candidate said his administration would “make education entirely free, including books and exam fees”.
