Edo Queens Emerge NWFL Champions For 2025/26 season.

Edo Queens Football Club of Benin-city have been crowned champions of the Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) for the 2025/26 season. 

Edo Queens clinched the league title after drawing goalless with Bayelsa Queens in the final round of NWFL Premiership Super Six fixtures played on Sunday at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital 

The Coach Moses Aduku tutored side are winning their second NWFL title in three years

Before the game, the Edo Queens were on nine points, needing only one point to be crowned champions.

It will be recalled that Edo Queens who represented Nigeria in the 2024 Women's club CAF Champions League, failed to win the third place match against the Egyptian, Masar FC who narrowly won via penalty shootouts 4-3
