Set Priority For Islamic Education- Cleric Charges Parents At Taofikullai Woleematul Qur'an




Parents have been advised at the Woleematul Qur'an of Taofikullai Arabic Center, Adigbe, Abeokuta to refocus their energy on standard Islamic upbringing for children to change the narratives of moral decadence in the community.

The Guest Lecturer, Sheikh Abdulsalam Opeloyeru (At-Tontoowiy), who said this, urged parents to set priorities and enroll their children at standard Arabic Schools like Taofikullai Arabic Center to resuscitate adequate Islamic education in the society.

The Taofikullai Arabic Center turned out ten brilliant graduands during its 17th Woleematul Qur'an on Sunday, 30th November, 2025.

Sheikh Opeloyeru further stated that, moral attention and financial support should be seamlessly given to the tutors of the children, who are burning the better parts of their life to build great leaders.

At-Tontoowiy, who is also an Arabic School Proprietor, praised the fluent, articulate and calmed presentation by the Students under the tutelage of Sheikh Aliyu Abdulmojeed Bolaji (Mallam Sarumi).

Numerous guests at the graduation were convinced that Taofikullai Islamic Society of Nigeria has continued to set standards through its Arabic School in the teaching and learning of Islamic education and ethics.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) of the Center, Alhaji Khalid Olawale, called for generous donations from all quarters to complete the developmental project of Taofikullai Arabic Center worth of Five Million Naira.

He stated that the PTA Executives had taken steps to acquire more chairs, tables, boards, demarcation of the classrooms and other learning facilities but they were financially incapacitated.

Alhaji Olawale disclosed that through the exco's efforts, the center was able to receive three ceiling fans and a sum of three hundred and seventy two thousand naira so far.

The society celebrated its 17th Woleematul Qur'an with six male and four female Graduands; Ibrahim Al-Ameen & Yeseer, Alaka Ziyaad & Ziyaadah, Lawal Habeedeen & Abdulsalam, Owoade Abdulsalam, Aliyu Hikma, Okesola Sodrat and Abdulhammed Rodiat.

The father of the occasion, Alhaji Chief Abdulganiyu Olaleye presented the graduation certificates with gifts to each graduand and other outstanding students in different categories.


He appreciated all and sundry, especially, the Society's members, Mission Board, Youth Wing, Friends and Family members, who beautified the event with their presence, efforts and support.

The event witnessed Clerics, Distinguished Chief Executives, Royal Highnesses, Government Officials, Professional Bodies, different dignitaries across the country, who contributed to the development of Taofikullai Arabic Center.
