The Egba-Yewa Zone of Al-Mu'minaat, a Believing Muslim Women Organization has donated 25 pairs of bedspreads to the Ogun State Hospital In Ijaye, Abeokuta, as part of its contributions to enhance healthcare delivery in the state
Amirah of the zone, Hajia Sekinat Abdur-Raheem Yusuf presenting the items to the management of the hospital as part of activities making the 30th anniversary of Al-Mu'minaat in Nigeria on Thursday, said the donation was to further demonstrate its commitment to upholding Islamic value of serving humanity
" Today, we celebrate a milestone – our 30th anniversary – by giving back to our community"
"We present 25 pairs of bedspreads to enhance patient comfort and dignity. This gesture reflects our commitment to serving humanity and upholding Islamic values of compassion and kindness", she stated
The Amirah appreciated members of the organization, donors, and volunteers for their dedication to cause of Islam while praying for blessings of Allah for the management and staff of the hospital for their commitment to save lives at all times
The grand-finale of the 30th anniversary comes up on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Owu-Central Mosque Hall in Quarry ,Abeokuta , where public lectures will be delivered on the topic "Between Parental Love and Over-pampering of Children - Balancing The Equation" and another on "Safeguarding Health and Wellness in a Challenging Economy: A Guide For Muslim Women"
The theme of the 30th Women's Day is "Journey of Strength, Thirty Years of Women's Leadership and Development "
