Ogun State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has charged contractors handling the Board’s projects across the 3 Senatorial Districts of the State to ensure quality and timely delivery of their assignments ahead of the resumption of schools for the new 2025/2026 academic session
Chairman of the State SUBEB, Evangelist Olalekan Ifede gave the charge while playing host to the contractors during a courtesy visit at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, assuring them of prompt payment upon satisfactory completion of projects.
“We are always ready to work with you and we are conscious of your welfare. We assure you that once you do your work according to specification, your payment will be made immediately. What is important to us is quality delivery,” he stated.
The SUBEB Boss further urged contractors to strictly follow project specifications to ease the work of supervising staff and avoid unnecessary delays, encouraging them to approach the Board whenever issues arise.
In his remarks, Board Secretary, Mr. Olubori Akinleye, noted that the successes recorded by Ogun SUBEB in the education sector would not have been possible without its partners, calling on contractors to ensure prompt and quality service delivery.
Speaking on behalf of the contractors, Coordinator, Hon. Ismail Soyoye, expressed appreciation to the Board for its support and commitment, assuring of their readiness to deliver as expected.
