Femi Soneye Resigns As Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPCL




Femi Soneye has resigned from his position as the Chief Corporate Communications Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd (NNPCL)

Soneye announced his resignation via a post on his Facebook page on Saturday, explaining reasons for the decision taken to step aside from his NNPCL role.

The decision according to Soneye, is to allow him to devote more time to his family and attend to personal responsibilities that now require his closer presence.

"I extend my heartfelt gratitude to you all for the unwavering support, professionalism, and genuine commitment you’ve shown in helping to shape and amplify the NNPC Ltd story over the past 20 months. Your role in building a vibrant and effective communications presence for our national energy company has been nothing short of invaluable".   

“I wish to inform you that I have stepped aside from my role as Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPC Ltd".   

“This decision will allow me to devote more time to my family and attend to personal responsibilities that now require my closer presence", he stated 

It will be recalled that Olufemi Oladapo Soneye was announced as Chief Corporate Communications Officer of 
Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited on October 18, 2023.
