The Nigeria Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) has cleared "Eri-Nbe 92.1fm", the newest radio station in Ogun State for formal broadcast.
This followed the inspection of facilities at the radio house located on the Sagamu -Ogijo ikorodu highway, one of industrial towns in Nigeria
The inspection team led by the Lagos Zonal Director of the NBC, Mr Ralph Akpan and assisted by the HOD engineering and technical services, Mrs Ayotayo Ogunkorode inspected the life studio room, talk back studio, the transmitting room, the sources of energy, the radio mast, fire and safety facilities and the environment.
" I am impressed, I give you 10 over 10 for I have seen. However, I want to admonish you to keep to the rules of broadcast , this is a time in which the radio broadcast must not slip, you must do everything to promote unity, peace,love and growth of our community by extension the country. I know those who will run this station are professionals with experience, it is still important to remind us that we do not have any other country than Nigeria", the Zonal Director said
The Managing Director , Eri-Nbe 92.1fm, Bamidele Ayodo who conducted the NBC team round the station on behalf of the chairman, Evangelist Israel Adewale Ajadi assured that the station has assembled a team of practicing broadcasters who will uphold the rules and ethics of radio broadcast and will be partners in progress with the community, the state and Nigeria at large.
The station is currently on a test transmission on the 92.1 fm frequency. The formal public presentation of the radio station will hold in the first week of February with full commercial broadcast expected to follow immediately.
