BTT Diagnostic Centre Is Committed To Reducing Mortality Rate Among Women, Stemming Tide Of Medical Tourism In Nigeria- Dr. Babatunde Adeyemi






BTT Diagnostic Centre, is emerging brand in Nigeria's healthcare delivery, well equipped with the State-of- the-art medical facilities at its newly commissioned laboratory centre in Idi-Aba, Abeokuta, the Ogun Stwate capital 

Chief promoter of the centre of medical excellence, Dr. Babatunde Adeyemi, in a chat with Edu-Biznews "Brand and Industry Update" crew, during historic opening ceremony of the medical facility located at Klm 3 Ajebo Road near Chrisland University in Idi-Aba area on January 8, 2025, declared that BTT Diagnostic Centre was committed to reducing the worrisome mortality rate, particularly among women caused by breast cancer, hence the establishment of Mammogram Centre to raise the level of health awareness on the need for early detection of cancer which according , is very low  among the people 




The New York, United States based physician who dedicated the BTT Diagnostic Centre to his mother from Ijemo-Agbadu in Ake area of Abeokuta, also expressed the commitment of the centre to stemming the tide of medical tourism, especially by Rich Nigerians who are fond of traveling to Europe,  America and part of Asia to seek Medicare because of poor medical facilities in the country 




Dr Adeyemi said the establishment of the world class health centre which has x-ray machines for various laboratory medical test including MRI- Magnetic Resonance Imaging machine, Mammogram Centre, Dialysis center as well as Eye Clinic and Dental Clinic  would reduce the rate at which travel outside the country for Medicare 

For Dr. Adeyemi, the establishment of BTT Diagnostic Centre, is just the beginning of many similar investments in Nigeria 

"I and my wife who is a Doctor of Nursing practice, are planning to move to Abeokuta fully, for little time spent here, I have been embraced by the community here . I really appreciate it, we are going to work together with the people to increase the health awareness of our people. 
























"We are going to create awareness that we have the world class medical facilities here at BTT Diagnostic Centre and Nigerians don't need to go abroad for such medical attention ", he maintained 

The product of University of Lagos College of Medicine, (LUTH), Idi-Araba, described the project as giving back to the society for the high quality medical training received in the country, before traveling to the United States, where he currently practice as a Medical Doctor 

Dr Adeyemi who never allowed himself to be discouraged by 75 percent of his colleagues in US, said investment in the medical center was a dream come true 

I'm determined to raise the standard of healthcare in Nigeria, we will create awareness and many people will patronize the medical services by our brand "BTT Diagnostic Centre Abeokuta"







He promised to encourage other Nigerians in diaspora to return home and invest in the country, saying there is nothing like returning home 

Also speaking, Co-partner in the project and wife Dr.(Mrs) Monsurat Adeyemi was full of praises to God for making the project, a reality for his husband whom she described as high determined individual who never gave up on any project 

She restated the commitment of BTT Diagnostic Centre to reducing mortality rate, especially among women caused by breast cancer, advising women of 25 years and above to always go testing twice in a year 


The Ogun State Commissioner for Rural Department, Mrs.Olufemi Ilori-Oduntan lauded the initiative of the couple for returning to home and investing in their immediate community 


She described Ogun State as a save heaven for investment, considering the business friendly environment created by the Prince Dapo Abiodun's administration in the state 


The Commissioner urged other Nigerians in diaspora to emulate Dr Babatunde Adeyemi and wife, Dr(Mrs) Monsurat  Adeyemi by returning home to invest, assuring them of good returns on their investments
