President Tinubu Arrives Nigeria After Extraordinary Arab-Islamic Summit In Saudi Arabia



President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Abuja, Nigeria's capital city, after  his participation at the just concluded extraordinary one-day Arab-Islamic summit held in Riyadh,  Saudi Arabia 

Tinubu arrived at the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikwe International Aiport, Abuja, on  evening hours of Tuesday at  around 8 pm

President Tinubu on arrival was  received by his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, and security heads, among others.

Others were Ministers including Nyesom Wike (Federal Capital Territory); Wale Edun (Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy).

The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, was also on hand to receive him.

The summit, which was hosted by King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, focused on current issues in the Middle East.

During his attendance at the summit, Tinubu addressed the ongoing Israel-Palestinian conflict, particularly in the city of Gaza ,highlighting Nigeria’s call for an immediate ceasefire and a peaceful resolution.

The Nigerian leader had departed the country last Sunday for the summit held on Monday in Saudi Arabia
