Ogun State government has dismissed an online recruitment advert attributed to the state Civil Service Commission.
Permanent Secretary, Civil Service Commission, Mrs. Roseline Oluwatoyin Jacobs in a statement on behalf of the Chairman of the Commission, Engr. Tokunbo Odebunmi, stated that the said online advert was reported to have called on prospective applicants to apply for various vacancies in the state’s Civil Service.
The State Government in the statement, emphasised that the publication was a mischief, perpetrated by some unscrupulous individuals, bent on maligning the image of the state government
The government made it clear that the Commission would not recruit via online but through its headquarters at Block A, New Secretariat, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
The State Government in the statement, enjoined the general public to be wary of such propaganda and disregard the online publication in its entirety, in order not to fall victim.
