Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has lauded Ogun State Government for digitalising its education system, describing it as a reference point among comity of states in Nigeria
Coordinator and Deputy Director of Abeokuta Branch of JAMB,Mr. Hakeem Abdulhameed gave the commendation
during a courtesy visit to the office of the State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu in Abeokuta
Speaking during the visit, Arigbabu explained that the introduction of technological innovations was to proffer permanent solution to major challenges encountered by the education sector and have a revitalised system, informing that the initiative was yielding desirable results.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner received the executive members of Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), Abeokuta Branch, who were on a courtesy visit to his office, saying the Ministry would continue to embrace professionalism through a paradigm shift from old teaching methods to modern techniques.
Earlier, the Chief Executive, TRCN, Prof. Olusegun Ajiboye, represented by the Director of Operations, Alhaji Abimbola Okunola, appreciated the Ministry for ensuring TRCN achieved its mandate.
