Gov.Abiodun's Aide Rejuvenates School Garden Project In Isoku, Ijebu-Ode

A Senior Special Assistant to Governor Dapo Abiodun on Finance, Mr. Dimeji Belo has established a school garden at the Moslem Primary School, 1 Isoku, Ijebu-Ode ,to demonstrate a renewed commitment towards rejuvenating the "School Garden" Initiative in Ogun State

He explained that the essence of establishing the School Garden was to ensure provision of nutritious meals for school children and prepare them on how to  commercialize such garden

His words,"the establishment of the School Garden Initiative, which is the pilot phase, is targeted at the provision of nutritious meals for school children, while also giving them a sense of Commerce".

The SSA on Finance to the Governor, who revealed this to journalist in Abeokuta, noted that initiative was targeted at complementing the Prince Dapo Abiodun's led-adminstration commitment at ensuring that the welfare of students and teachers are well managed and catered for.

Belo revealed that arrangements had been concluded for the commencement of the next phase, which shall include Bazaars for sale of extra produce and Financial Literacy/Inclusion Drives all in a bid to ensure that from a very early age, the Ogun Standard ethos of being financially savvy is instilled in the youths, while technical assistance and the provision of machinery is simultaneously ongoing as at the time of filing this report.

Governor Abiodun's aide thereafter called on the Organised Private Sector (OPS) in the state, and other selfless philanthropists to support the state government by 'Adopting a School' for the establishment of a  School Garden in any citadel of their choice.
