OGIRS Organizes Eye Screening For Staffers.. To Make Them Healthy

          

Ogun State Internal Revenue Service (OGIRS) has organised a free eye test for all categories of its staffers, to ensure good health status for members of staff, 

          

Executive Chairman of OGIRS, Mr. Olugbenga Olaleye speaking during the exercise at the agency’s headquarters in Abeokuta, the emphasised the significance of good eyesight on staff's performance

‘’when eyes were checked regularly, cases that needed attention could be detected and attended to, in order to avert future health problems", he stated 

        

"You cannot downplay the place of good eyesight on staff productivity, especially on our job that deals with figures.

        

"When eyes are checked regularly, abnormalities can be detected before it gets worse. Cases like glaucoma and cataracts, when defective and treated early, can avert a lot of complicated health issues ", he said

        

In his remark, the Director of Administration and Supplies in the agency, Mr. Abiodun Akinwunmi, who spoke on behalf of the staffers, appreciated the commitment of the Executive Chairman to ensuring perfect health for workers and pledged staff's readiness to be more diligent.
