Obasanjo's Wife, Experts Offer Tips To Mothers On Peaceful Home Front, Healthy Lifestyle







Wife of Nigeria's former president, Mrs Bola Obasanjo and health experts have offered vital tips to nursing mothers on how to build peaceful home front and live a healthy lifestyle to prevent conflict of interest in their respective families

Bola Obasanjo who was speaking on Saturday in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital as one of guest lecturers at an event marking second anniversary and  launching of first physical forum of "Yolabo Young Mums NG, a social media group for nursing mothers initiated by a wife of former member of the State House of Assembly, Mrs Omotola Fatoki, stressed the need for wives to see themselves as mothers and friends to their husbands and be friendly with drivers, cleaners and other domestic workers to prevent conflict of interest capable of destroying their homes 





She cautioned them against allowing third party, especially friends to intervene in misunderstanding with their husbands while sharing her experiences of how to prepare foods with required nutritional value for heathy living of their families




Similarly former member of the State House of Assembly, Hon. Johnson Olu-Fatoki and Dr(Mrs) Opaleye emphasized the need for mothers to always promote love by learning how to relate well with their husbands to ensure a peaceful home front 







Other guests speakers at the event, Nurse Rasheedat Yusuf and Nurse Olubunmi Oshineye in their sperate sessions, offered tips to nursing mothers on the how to provide first aid treatment for their children after sustaining various degrees of injuries before seeking proper medical attention and what they must do and avoid to promote fertility and produce more healthy babies 

The founder of Yolabo Young Mums NG, Mrs Omotola Fatoki had earlier in her welcome address, disclosed that the social media group was created, to share her experiences with nursing mothers as a nurse working in hospital 


She explained that the purpose of the platform on social media is to among  others objectives provide practical solutions to challenges facing nursing mothers and promote  healthy lifestyle among them



High point of the event was the presentation of award and gift by concerned mothers on the social media group to the convener , Mrs Fatoki in appreciation of her contributions to the promotion of healthy mothers and children on the platform


Other highlights included medical check up for mothers to know their health status and cutting of the anniversary cake to celebrate the social media group
