Chrisland University in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital has emerged as the first university in Nigeria to have secured full accreditations from both the National Universities Commission(NUC) and Medical Rehabilitation Therapists Board of Nigeria (MRTBN) to run and award Doctor of Physiotherapy Degree
The Board had visited the university in May, 2023 for accreditation while NUC granted full accreditation to the university in November, 2022 to run the academic programme
The university according to a statement made available to Edu-Biznews on Thursday, will be the first institution in Nigeria to obtain full accreditation from both NUC and Medical Rehabilitation Therapists Board of Nigeria (MRTBN)
With these accreditations from the two regulatory bodies, graduates of Chrisland University Abeokuta will now be awarded Doctor of Physiotherapy Degree on completion of their programme of study
