Ogun State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has congratulated the new executives of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) led by Comrade Michael Ogunsiji in the state, assuring the new leadership of the association of its total support
State Chairman of NUJ, Comrade Wale Olanrewaju and the Secretary, Comrade Bunmi Adigun in a joint statement on Thursday , said with the emergence of the new leadership in SWAN, politics should be set aside for serious business of working together to move the Association as an affiliate of the Union in Ogun state, saying nothing good can happen in an atmosphere where there is no peace.
The Union assures the new executives of an open door policy as the Chairman is an automatic member of the State Working Committee (SWC) and his expertise will be needed to continue with the ongoing development and the fresh air enjoyed at the state level in recent time.
The Union also congratulated other members of executives and wished them a successful tenure in office.
