Gov.Mbah Vows To Shutdown Shops , Revokes Operational Licenses Of Business Owners In Enugu Over Sit- At-Home



Governor Peter Mbah has vowed to shutdown shops of traders and revoked Operational Licenses of business owners in Enugu State, South East Nigeria who refused to open for commercial activities every Monday in compliance with the Sit-at-home order by the proscribed Indegenious People of Biafra (IPOB) 

IPOB has continued to issue the Sit-at-home order in the South East region every Monday over the detention of its leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu by the Department of Security Service for alleged treasonable felony 

But Governor Mbah who put a stop to the order in Enugu State last June, 5,2023, threathened to re-allocate shops of traders who complied with such directive of non-state actors to serious traders who is ready for business in the government's shopping complex and market places 

The governor who was  monitoring the compliance level by traders and business owners to reopening of businesses order directed by the State Government on Monday in the State, said his administration would not IPOB to continue to destroy the economic activities of the State

Shops and other businesses as well as schools and other public places were seen opening for commercial and other activities in compliance with the directive of government against the order of IPOB 

Edu-Biznews recalled that owners of shops and businesses in the South East region had refused to open for commercial activities as well as schools and other public places for the fear of being attacked by IPOB operatives
