Governor Dapo Abiodun has charged newly elected executive members of Ogun State chapter of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), led by
Comrade Micheal -Azeez Ogunsiji
to provide visionary leadership capable of developing sports in the State
Abiodun gave the charged in his congratulatory message personally signed by him in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital on Wednesday.
The governor who wished Ogunsiji a successful tenure in office with positive impacts on development of sports , said Nigeria as a country needs young people like him in different positions of leadership.
The statement reads in part:'' I congratulate Comrade Ogunsiji on his emergence as the Chairman of SWAN in our dear state, as well as other executive members of the association.
"It is my hope that Comrade Ogunsiji, will bring his versed knowledge of sports reportage to bear on the growth of sports in the state and county at large ",. he concluded
