The reigning champions of the Naija Super 8, Sporting Lagos Football Club will be among participating teams in the ValueJet Cup 23 pre-season tournament slated to hold in Ikenne-Remo, Ogun State, between August 4 and August 10,2023
Other teams according to organizers of the 8-club pre-season Championship,
are host, Remo Stars FC and Kwara United FC of Ilorin
Remo Stars who are both runners-up at the recent Naija Super-8 tournament in Lagos and top flight, Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) will be using the competition to fine-tune its preparation for the prestigious CAF Champions League as one of the country's flagbearers
