An Ogun State based Non-Governmental Organization, Ireede Grassroots Foundation has lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the appointment of Kayode Egbetokun , an indigene of the State as the acting Inspector General of Police in Nigeria
The foundation in a congratulatory message by its founder, Hon. Funmilayo Ireede-Oginni on Thursday, was also full of praises for the election of Hon(Mrs)Bolanle Ajayi representing Yewa South Constituency as the first female Deputy Speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly
The Ireede Grassroots Foundation charged the duo of acting IGP and Deputy Speaker to be good ambassadors of Ogun State, particularly Yewa people by upholding high moral values and high standard of discipline in the discharge of their respective responsibilities.
The foundation expressed its strong determination to continue support the education of the less privileged, particularly those in the rural areas to keep their dreams and aspiration alive for them to become somebody that will be highly respected in the society, just the likes of the new IGP and Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly
Ireede-Oginni prayed God to guide and provide both the IGP and Deputy Speaker the needed wisdom to carryout their respective responsibilities to the people through out their period of official assignments to the nation
