Your Welfare Will Be My Major Priority- Abiodun Assures Ogun Workers


          


Governor Dapo Abiodun has assured workers on the payroll of Ogun State that their welfare would be one of the major priorities in the next dispensation of his administration in the State,

Governor Abiodun who pledged to provide more affordable housing units for them, gave the assurance during an interaction with a cross-section of Civil Servants at the Governor's Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta

He added that his government would continue to build until every desirous Civil Servant own a house

Abiodun who thanked them for their unalloyed support in the first term, noted that many fruitful things would come to fruition in the next few weeks, promising to deploy more ways to improve their intellectual and professional knowledge, to enable them to remain relevant in the scheme of things.

According to him, "I want to pledge that in the next four years, your welfare will be one of my priorities, the things that I have been working on over the past few months by the grace of God will come to fruition in the next few weeks. They are some of the things we've been discussing, they are promises I have made to you, you will suddenly see changes very soon", he said.

Abiodun, while commending the Public Servants in the State for their efforts towards the successful implementation of the ‘ISEYA’ mantra of his administration in the first term, said the success recorded was a result of the cordial relationship between the Public Servants and Political office holders.

 The governor  charged the Permanent Secretaries, who are accounting officers in their various ministries, to hold forth until the appointment of new Special Advisers and Commissioners, saying he has no doubt in their abilities to do a perfect job.

Abiodun who restated the commitment of his government to the provision of more infrastructure, assured of the commencement of the dry port project in Kajola, Ogun Central Senatorial District of the State with facilities to attract investors and enhance ease of doing business.

Earlier in his remark, the Head of Service, Mr. Kolawole Fagbohun, who congratulated Governor Abiodun on his successful inauguration for a second term, promised that the State workforce would continue to add value towards the actualisation of the ‘Building our Future Together’ agenda of the present administration.
