Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has asked its intending pilgrims to the 2023 Hajj to make themselves available for medical screening, vaccination and enlightenment beginning from this
Friday, May 19 to Monday, May 22, 2023.
Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Salau Dauda who made this known in a statement, said that the event would take place at Arcade Ground, Governor's Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, at 8:00 am each day and would be handled by medical experts and religious leaders to educate them on dos and don’ts of Hajj.
The release stated that all intending pilgrims should note that the screening is compulsory, to determine the health status of each pilgrim with the aim of giving advice where necessary, before embarking on holy pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.
It enjoined all intending pilgrims to cooperate with the medical and other teams, come along with their payment receipts and COVID-19 Vaccination Cards and ensure that they follow strictly the names on the list released for each day.
