Nigeria Labour Congress has called on the Ogun State Government to inject fund into the education, agricultural and health sectors to further consolidate on the achievements recorded in the past four years of the Prince Dapo Abiodun's administration in the state
The State Counçil Chairman of NLC, Comrade Hameed Benco-Ademola who made the call on Monday during the celebration of this year's workers day at the MKO Abiola International Stadium in Abeokuta, stressed the need for Governor Abiodun to extend the funding of education sector beyond Infrastructural development in schools and provision of instructional materials, by ensuring provision of adequate welfare packages and capacity building for teachers in public schools
"Development of the agricultural sector, particularly in the areas of training, creating enabling environment to ensure farmers have opportunities for affordable soft loans , provision of modern farming equipment to farmers through Agro Service Corporation and other relevant agencies at subsidised rate to enable farmers at the grassroots to have access to their use ", he demanded
NLC also asked for adequate funding of the health sector including continous upgrading of health centres both at Urban and Rural areas

Workers' Estate cutting across the four geo-political zone of the state", he stated.
The NLC Chief also stressed the need for upgrading of the Bureau of Establishment and Training to a full fledged Ministry of Establishment, Training and Employment
The governor in his response, assured labour of looking into the request and do the needful
