Ogun To Spend Over N29bn On Housing, Community Projects In 2023

Ogun State Government has earmarked N29,102,408,070.75 

for housing and community development sectors , so as to actualize its  ambitious housing scheme in the coming year,

Governor Dapo Abiodun who. stated this in Abeokuta during his presentation of the year 2023 Appropriation Bill at the Ogun State House of Assembly, said his administration had constructed about 1,500 housing units in the past three years

The governor said the number of houses built by the present administration was more than the total housing units constructed by the previous administrations since the creation of the State in 1976, noting that the housing units had been sold out across the three Senatorial Districts of the State.

He added that patronage of subscribers had propelled the present administration to build more 2- and 3-bedroom bungalow apartments in various locations across the State.
