Ogun State Government is finalizing arrangement for unveiling of Remo Economic Development Industrial Cluster this Friday, November 4, 2022, which will ensure economic boom and prosperity for the state in agriculture and non-agriculture logistic zones
It will be recalled that in April 2022, a Memorandum of Understanding worth $400million was signed by the Ogun State Government and Arise Integrated Industrial Platform company, to develop the Olokola Free Trade Zone, the Remo Cluster and Agro Cargo Airport.
Vice President, Arise Integrated Industrial Platform company, Suren Abeywickrema in an interview with newsmen shortly after a meeting with the representatives of the State government in Abeokuta, says all is set for the groundbreaking event of the Cluster.
Suren added that the company’s investment plan on the partnership would enable the present administration to realise the benefits accruable in both sectors for the socio-economic development of the State, saying “the company is glad to partner with Ogun State Government, having agreed to invest in the Remo Economic Development Cluster.
"We've concluded arrangement to invest in the Remo Economic Development Cluster, to develop agriculture and non-agriculture logistic zones.
